Media Operations Manager

About the role

Publicis Media is seeking a senior‑level Media Operations Manager to lead and optimise media delivery across Central and West Africa. The role bridges media, finance, data, technology and governance, creating a scalable operating system that ensures accurate, timely and compliant campaign execution.

Key responsibilities

• Design, own and continuously improve end‑to‑end workflows covering briefing, planning, buying, activation, reporting, reconciliation, billing and campaign closure.
• Establish clear roles, service levels, approval routes and escalation processes across hub, cluster and local‑market teams.
• Lead campaign‑readiness and quality‑assurance activities, maintaining audit‑ready documentation and QA checklists.
• Connect budgets, purchase orders, media spend, supplier costs and client billing to ensure financial stewardship and early detection of discrepancies.
• Drive adoption and governance of the Starscape platform, coordinating training, user‑acceptance testing and change‑management initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in media operations, advertising operations, campaign governance or related finance/project management roles.
• Strong understanding of the full media campaign lifecycle from planning to billing and reconciliation.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, finance teams and external partners across multiple markets.
• Excellent organisational, communication and detail‑orientation skills, with fluency in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel capabilities.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
• Experience with Power BI or similar data visualisation tools.
• Hands‑on experience with Starscape or comparable media planning/buying platforms.
