Media Ops Director

About the role

The Media Ops Director will lead media operations for Publicis West Africa, coordinating workstreams across 25 countries from our Accra office. You will oversee day‑to‑day media department activities, manage vendor relationships, and ensure seamless execution of integrated campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Head of Media and manage daily media department operations, including traffic management, invoicing and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with regional and internal stakeholders (account, planning, finance) to deliver best‑in‑class integrated workflows and billing processes.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for billing requirements and escalations across markets.
• Design and implement joint solutions with finance and local teams to improve billing turnaround time.
• Partner with strategists and planners to develop integrated strategic responses for brand objectives.
• Generate accurate reports on campaign status, existing accounts and new business opportunities.
• Act as the local lead for system rollouts (Growth OS, ITS, Chase), capturing requirements, driving UAT, trials and training.
• Represent the group with discretion and professionalism, handling any additional tasks assigned by senior leadership.
