MEP Manager – Construction Projects (Accra, Ghana)

About the role

The MEP Manager will lead all mechanical, electrical and plumbing activities for high‑rise, commercial and residential projects across Accra and Tema. You will be responsible for design coordination, procurement, installation supervision, testing, commissioning and final handover, ensuring safety, quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage MEP design reviews, ensure feasibility, code compliance and value optimisation.
• Lead the internal MEP team and subcontractors, coordinating schedules with the overall construction programme.
• Prepare material and equipment lists, support procurement, and verify specifications before installation.
• Oversee site installations, monitor quality, resolve delays and ensure integration with structural and architectural works.
• Set quality control procedures, manage testing, commissioning and produce as‑built documentation.
• Enforce health and safety standards, obtain statutory approvals and utility connections.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering; professional registration preferred.
• 10–15 years of MEP experience on high‑rise (14+ stories) commercial projects.
• Proven leadership in building and managing MEP teams.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes and international standards.

Required skills

• AutoCAD
• Revit MEP / BIM (experience with BIM coordination is a plus)
