Micro Insurance Coordinator

About the role

The Micro Insurance Coordinator will drive growth and performance of the micro‑insurance channel for miLife Insurance. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the role focuses on recruiting agents, managing channel operations and achieving sales targets across Accra and the Tema region.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and recruit micro‑insurance agents for approved shops or customer experience centres.
• Collaborate with MTN and Mobile Money Ltd (MML) sales teams to expand the number of active agents selling miWay.
• Coordinate product training for agents and external partners to ensure quality sales.
• Drive weekly and monthly sales targets and continuously improve agent productivity.
• Conduct weekly channel meetings to track performance and resolve challenges.
• Foster a results‑driven sales culture and ensure compliance with quality‑assurance standards.
• Support cost‑effective marketing campaigns and strengthen partnerships with MTN and MML.
• Provide timely and accurate weekly reports to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in micro‑insurance sales and channel management.
• Experience working with a telecommunications company is an advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation and leadership abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel long distances.
