National Director – WV Ghana

About the role

The National Director leads World Vision Ghana, steering the implementation of the organization’s strategy in alignment with national priorities and the global mission. Reporting to the senior leadership team, the role oversees all program areas, partnerships and operational functions across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the FY26‑30 Operations Strategy to reach 2.5 million vulnerable children.
• Provide strategic leadership for health, nutrition, education, WASH, food security and livelihood programmes.
• Manage a staff of approximately 250, ensuring high performance and adherence to organisational principles.
• Represent World Vision Ghana to government, donors, partners and the broader WVI partnership.
• Ensure financial accountability, compliance and effective resource mobilisation.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in the humanitarian or development sector.
• Strong understanding of Ghana’s socio‑economic context and government priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large, multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
