National Service Personnel – Financial Accounting Advisory Services

About the role

As a National Service Personnel within EY's Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team, you will combine technical IFRS knowledge with practical financial reporting experience to support clients directly and indirectly.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on the application of new and existing IFRS standards.
• Assess the impact of recently adopted standards such as IFRS 9, 10, 11, 15, 16 and 17.
• Support accounting policy conversions, GAAP analysis, preparation or review of financial statements, and implementation of new standards.
• Provide technical accounting assistance to other EY service lines.
• Develop and deliver training on technical accounting topics to clients and internal teams.
• Participate in complex IFRS analysis procedures and specialized issue resolution.

Required profile

• Final‑year university student pursuing a degree in Accounting.
• Associate of ICAG/ACCA or strong motivation to obtain professional accounting qualifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• High motivation, analytical ability, attention to detail and ability to build client relationships.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Basic quantitative analysis skills.
