Operations Accounting Coordinator

About the role

The Operations Accounting Coordinator will work closely with the CEO to keep TFD’s operational and financial processes running smoothly. This full‑time hybrid position supports day‑to‑day business activities and integrates daily accounting tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Support TFD business operations in Accra and the Tema region.
• Onboard new clients and contractors onto the TFD platform.
• Handle customer queries and ensure timely resolution.
• Train and monitor delivery partners to maintain quality service.
• Prepare and review journal entries and assist with month‑end close.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and reconcile key accounts.
• Produce and analyse financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and relevant accounting standards.

Required profile

• Passionate about high‑quality execution with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
• Minimum 2 years of corporate accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Fluent in spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience in management, tech business, retail sales, startups or high‑growth companies preferred.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with accounting or ERP systems.
• Strong spreadsheet and data‑analysis capabilities.
• Knowledge of journal entries, financial reporting and month‑end processes.
