Order Desk and Customer Service Officer

About the role

Normet is seeking an Order Desk and Customer Service Officer to support its global technology business serving the mining, tunnelling and construction sectors. The role focuses on handling enquiries, generating quotations and ensuring smooth order processing from quote to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries and generate quotations, pro‑form invoices, sales orders and manage customer claims.
• Maintain open quotations and order backlog, tracking all items in CRM and Excel.
• Convert approved quotes into sales orders within the ERP system.
• Coordinate with warehouse, logistics and sales teams to facilitate timely deliveries.
• Expedite orders and provide feedback to customers on order status.
• Liaise between the Global Parts team and West Africa dealers on all enquiries and quotations.

Required profile

• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for internal coordination and external customer interaction.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multinational environment.
