Overhead Crane Mechanic (Full-Time)

About the role

Sunda International is seeking an Overhead Crane Mechanic to inspect, maintain, and repair overhead cranes and lifting equipment at its facilities in Kumasi. The role involves ensuring safe and reliable operation of all crane systems while adhering to strict safety procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair overhead cranes and lifting equipment.
• Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical faults.
• Perform preventive maintenance and replace damaged parts.
• Check components such as hoists, hooks, brakes, motors, limit switches, and wire ropes.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Follow all safety procedures during maintenance work.

Required profile

• Previous experience with overhead crane or lifting equipment maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and hands‑on skills.
• Good safety awareness and ability to work overtime when required.
• Factory or manufacturing experience is an advantage.
