Overhead Crane Mechanic

Job description
Key responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair overhead cranes and lifting equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and replace damaged parts.
- Check key components such as hoists, hooks, brakes, motors, limit switches, and wire ropes.
- Keep maintenance and repair records and follow safety procedures.
Required profile
- Previous experience in overhead crane or lifting equipment maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Good safety awareness and ability to work overtime when required.
Required skills
- Mechanical troubleshooting.
- Electrical troubleshooting.
- Preventive maintenance of crane systems.
- Inspection of hoists, hooks, brakes, motors, limit switches, and wire ropes.
