Part‑time Data Analytics Lecturer

About the role

SIIMT University College is seeking a part‑time Data Analytics Lecturer to join its on‑site teaching team in Accra. The role focuses on delivering core data analytics concepts, including data collection, cleaning, analysis, visualization, and basic statistics, to undergraduate and professional learners.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver lecture and lab sessions covering data analytics workflows.
• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, projects, and assessments that reinforce practical application.
• Provide academic guidance, hold student consultations, and give constructive feedback.
• Maintain up‑to‑date course materials and integrate relevant software tools.
• Collaborate with fellow faculty to enhance curriculum and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, IT or a related field; master’s degree or professional certifications are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to teach or train diverse learners at a tertiary or professional level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective organizational and time‑management capabilities to handle part‑time teaching duties.
