Patrol Supervisor – Security Operations

About the role

The Patrol Supervisor is a field‑lead position responsible for overseeing G4S security officers across assigned sectors in Accra. Working from a company‑issued patrol vehicle or motorcycle, the supervisor ensures contract compliance, maintains operational excellence, and acts as the senior tactical responder to incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct unannounced site inspections and audits of security officers to verify alertness, uniform compliance and adherence to post orders.
• Evaluate guard performance, document infractions and deliver on‑the‑spot coaching or disciplinary actions.
• Manage shift handovers, check‑ins and muster parades to guarantee 100% post coverage.
• Resolve staffing shortages by dynamically filling open posts and approving timesheets, activity reports and shift logs.
• Serve as the senior on‑site authority during alarms, breaches, medical emergencies or structural incidents and compile legally sound incident reports.
• Provide initial on‑site onboarding and practical training for newly assigned personnel.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years progressive experience in private security, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Valid clean driver’s licence (Class A or motorcycle endorsement) and Ghana Card.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong command presence and ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
