About the role
Sanford World Clinics in Ghana is expanding and seeks a Physician Assistant to work across three clinic locations – Cape Coast, Kojokrom and Mankessim. This employed position requires handling patient health problems, from history taking to diagnosis, treatment and referral, while maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of medical developments.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to medical and health problems presented by patients, including history taking, diagnosis, investigation, treatment and appropriate referral.
- Utilize medical software for patient and time management, record consultations and prescriptions, and maintain accurate patient records.
Required profile
- Physician Assistant Advanced Diploma, Certificate or Degree.
- Excellent client/patient relations and respect for patient rights as outlined in the Patient’s Charter.
Required skills
- IT literacy with ability to use medical software for patient management.
- Proficiency in electronic prescription and record‑keeping systems.
