Physician Assistant – Full-time, Accra & Tema

About the role

The position is a full‑time, on‑site Physician Assistant role at NK Salem Medical Centre in Achimota, Accra. You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering patient‑centered care to the local community.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Conduct medical examinations, take histories, and make preliminary diagnoses.
• Prescribe and administer medications within the scope of practice.
• Respond to emergencies and perform basic life support when needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure patient confidentiality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistantship or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Valid license to practice as a Physician Assistant in Ghana.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience (post‑internship preferred).
• Strong knowledge of general outpatient and inpatient care.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
• High level of professionalism, ethics, and patient confidentiality.
