Plant Protection Guard

About the role

The Plant Protection Guard ensures the safety and security of the facility, its employees, visitors, and assets. This position involves monitoring premises, controlling access, responding to emergencies, and enforcing security policies.

Key responsibilities

• Access Control: Verify identification of employees, visitors, and contractors; enforce visitor policies and escort requirements.
• Patrol and Asset Protection: Conduct regular patrols of the perimeter, parking areas, warehouses, and key zones; secure doors, windows, and gates after hours; safeguard raw materials, finished products, and equipment.
• Incident Response and Reporting: React promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents; assist in evacuations, medical emergencies, and fire alarms; prepare detailed incident reports.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate visitor logs, patrol logs, and incident documentation; count products on pallets during inspections.
• Customer Service: Provide a courteous presence at entrances, greet employees and visitors, answer questions, and address complaints professionally.
