Portfolio Manager

About the role

The Portfolio Manager will lead the design and execution of investment strategies for high‑net‑worth clients and trustee organisations. Working closely with Business Development Officers, you will translate client risk profiles into tailored Investment Policy Statements and oversee the full portfolio lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Development Officers to create Investment Policy Statements based on individual risk profiles and special needs.
• Construct and maintain diversified portfolios that align with client risk preferences and outperform benchmark indices.
• Monitor, rebalance and attribute portfolio performance regularly to ensure sustainable alpha generation.
• Prepare and present performance reports to clients, boards of directors and trustees.
• Develop and implement portfolio management strategies that deliver positive alpha.
• Build and deepen relationships with individual clients and trustee companies.
• Supervise investment analysts where applicable.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, banking or a related business discipline.
• Successful completion of CFA Level I or II (or equivalent certification).
• Minimum five years of experience in investment banking or portfolio management.
• Strong quantitative, analytical and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver results.
