Product Manager – Financial Marketplace & Integrations

About the role

The Financial Marketplace & Integrations Manager will lead the creation and scaling of Telecel Cash’s financial services marketplace. Working at the intersection of product, technology and commercial teams, you will enable customers and businesses to access credit, savings, insurance and investment products through Telecel’s digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Design and grow a multi‑partner marketplace aggregating banking, insurance and wealth‑management products.
• Identify priority offerings such as micro‑loans, group savings, life and non‑life insurance, and investment solutions for mass‑market and SME segments.
• Onboard and manage strategic partners (banks, MFIs, insurers, asset managers, fintechs) and negotiate revenue models, SLAs and partnership frameworks.
• Drive API‑based and other technical integrations to deliver partner products seamlessly on Telecel platforms.
• Collaborate with technology teams to ensure secure, scalable and reliable integration architecture.
• Own the end‑to‑end product lifecycle from concept through launch, optimisation and scaling.
• Monitor commercial metrics (adoption, usage, revenue) and refine propositions based on data and market trends.
• Lead go‑to‑market strategies, partner education and financial‑literacy initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Bank of Ghana regulations, AML/KYC and data‑protection standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product management or marketplace development, preferably in fintech or telecom environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of negotiating and managing partner relationships.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications and work closely with engineering teams.
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret usage data and drive product optimisation.
