Product Marketing Manager

About the role

Canonical is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to own go‑to‑market strategy for key products, shaping messaging for developers and enterprise buyers. The role is fully remote, collaborating with product, engineering, sales and marketing teams worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute GTM strategies for a range of products.
• Lead messaging and positioning to differentiate Canonical’s offerings.
• Plan and create content such as website copy, whitepapers, blogs and sales enablement materials.
• Collaborate with regional marketing teams to run integrated campaigns that drive pipeline growth.
• Launch new products and features, coordinating cross‑functional teams to drive awareness and adoption.
• Conduct competitive analysis and adjust positioning based on market trends.
• Support customer success with strategies to upsell and cross‑sell.
• Organise global events, webinars and community meetups aligned with GTM priorities.

Required profile

• Passion for technology and open source, with strong storytelling ability.
• Growth mindset, comfortable with experimentation and continuous improvement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Data‑driven mindset for measuring impact and refining strategies.
• Experience in product marketing for enterprise software, cloud, DevOps or open‑source solutions.
• Experience with demand generation and translating GTM strategies into pipeline growth.
