About the role

The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) seeks distinguished scholars to join its Faculty of Engineering as Professors. Appointments are open across several departments, including Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and Mathematics & Statistics.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality teaching and supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Lead and contribute to research programmes, securing publications in recognized journals.
• Engage in community service and outreach activities aligned with university goals.
• Participate in faculty development and academic governance initiatives.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant engineering, computer science, or mathematics discipline.
• Current appointment as Professor at a recognized university, or at least three years as an Associate Professor with a minimum of fifteen peer‑reviewed journal publications.
• Eligibility to be appointed under GCTU’s promotion criteria, including provision of three referees.
