About the role

The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) seeks a highly qualified Professor to join its Faculty of Computing and Information Systems. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, research, and community engagement across multiple departments.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the chosen department.
  • Supervise student projects, theses, and dissertations.
  • Conduct high‑quality research and publish in recognized journals.
  • Participate in community service and outreach activities.
  • Support faculty development and academic governance.

Required profile

  • Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.
  • Current appointment as Professor at a recognized university, or at least three years as Associate Professor with a minimum of fifteen peer‑reviewed publications.
  • Three referees with full contact details.
