Program Director – Harnessing Agriculture Productivity & Prosperity for Youth

About the role

TechnoServe is seeking an experienced Program Director to lead the Harnessing Agriculture Productivity and Prosperity for Youth (HAPPY) project in Ghana. The role will guide a multi‑year initiative that aims to boost agricultural productivity and create dignified jobs for young men and women across key value chains.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and technical oversight for the HAPPY project, ensuring delivery of results on time and within budget.
• Serve as the primary liaison among consortium partners, donors, Ghanaian government agencies, and private‑sector stakeholders.
• Manage and supervise a complex network of implementing partners, technical organizations, and service providers.
• Foster collaboration, learning, and adaptive management to inform decision‑making and drive impact.
• Coordinate with other donor‑funded programs operating in Ghana to maximize synergies.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least eight years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to lead large, multi‑partner development projects in the agricultural sector.
• Strong track record of partnership building with governments, donors, and private‑sector actors.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
