Project Manager – Forest Flavors

About the role

CRS Ghana is seeking a Project Manager to lead the Forest Flavors initiative, which applies Market Systems Development (MSD) approaches to strengthen cocoa and shea value chains, create sustainable youth jobs, and promote climate‑smart agriculture across northern Ghana.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical, budget, monitoring and reporting activities throughout the project cycle.
• Manage and supervise project staff, provide coaching, and oversee performance management.
• Provide technical leadership on MSD, youth employment, climate‑smart agriculture, agroforestry, and landscape restoration.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with COCOBOD, the Forestry Commission, private sector buyers, local governments, financial institutions, and research organisations.
• Ensure adequate financial, material and human resources for quality implementation, conduct budget reviews and track partner financial reports.
• Identify capacity‑building needs of staff and partners and support targeted interventions.
• Prepare trend analysis reports, disseminate findings, and ensure project documentation complies with agency and donor requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience working with multi‑level stakeholders and strengthening community partnerships.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse data and contribute to project evaluation.
• Experience in managing budgets, supervising teams, and delivering results in agricultural or environmental programmes.
