Project Manager – Hyundai‑KOICA NextGen

About the role

Plan International Ghana is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the Hyundai‑KOICA NextGen initiative. The role focuses on improving TVET education by establishing an advanced mobility and digital technology training environment for vulnerable youth in the automotive sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement project plans and strategies.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
• Execute, monitor, and report on project activities.
• Communicate with stakeholders and produce regular reports.
• Manage budget, resources, and financial reporting.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.
• Integrate innovative technologies and ensure quality assurance.
• Design and deliver training and capacity‑building programmes.
• Conduct post‑project evaluation and ensure sustainability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably automotive engineering.
• Master’s degree or professional project‑management qualification is an advantage.
• Minimum five years of experience managing automotive sector projects.
• Strong knowledge of both combustion‑engine and electric‑vehicle domains.

Required skills

• Understanding of vehicle architecture.
• Ability to manage technical integration of components across vehicle systems.
• Knowledge of combustion vehicle technologies.
• Knowledge of electric vehicle (EV) technologies.
