Public Policy Consultant – Ghana

About the role

The Public Policy Consultant will lead the integrated public affairs strategy for a global technology platform operating in Ghana. Based in Accra, you will shape regulatory frameworks for ride‑hailing and app‑based delivery services while supporting the company’s business objectives and national digital‑economy goals.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute data‑driven policy strategies that align with the platform’s business model.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with government ministries, transport regulators, industry bodies, and civil society.
• Lead policy campaigns to ensure regulatory compliance and advance business priorities.
• Develop advocacy and strategic communication initiatives that strengthen the company’s reputation.
• Provide strategic advice to senior leaders on political, regulatory, and reputational matters.
• Monitor regional and global policy developments and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in public policy, government relations, or regulatory affairs, preferably in the mobility or digital services sector.
• Strong political acumen and ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
• Excellent relationship‑building and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement advocacy campaigns.
