Quality Assurance Officer (Manufacturing)

About the role

The Quality Assurance Officer will oversee real‑time, in‑process quality assurance and control (IPQA&C) on the production floor, ensuring that every batch meets cGMP, QMS and product specification requirements. This role is critical to maintaining product integrity and regulatory compliance for our manufacturing sites in Accra and Tema.

Key responsibilities

• Perform online, real‑time inspection and monitoring of manufacturing processes to guarantee compliance with quality procedures.
• Ensure adherence to cGMP and the company’s Quality Management System across all production activities.
• Verify and maintain accurate Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR) entries and input material traceability.
• Conduct line clearance before and after each batch, following BMR guidelines to prevent mix‑ups and cross‑contamination.
• Hold production lines when non‑compliance is observed and coordinate corrective actions with supervisors.
• Confirm that approved product specifications, reference samples, and packaging materials are present at workstations throughout production.
• Support any additional quality assurance tasks assigned by the Quality Manager.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month experience in a manufacturing quality assurance environment.
• Familiarity with cGMP, QMS and batch documentation processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under time‑critical conditions.
• Good communication skills for reporting non‑compliance and coordinating with production teams.
