Quality Assurance Supervisor – Food & Beverage

About the role

The Quality Assurance Supervisor will ensure that all departmental processes, procedures and activities are performed in strict compliance with quality and food safety standards. This role supports the QA Manager in overseeing daily operations and drives continuous improvement across production lines.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise QA Officers, plan shifts and allocate personnel to meet production schedules.
• Maintain and control documentation, ensuring all record forms are up‑to‑date and accessible.
• Verify that equipment and tools are calibrated, in good condition, and available for QA activities.
• Handle product complaints and returns, updating quality indices for blends, concentrates, alcohol and packaging lines.
• Document non‑conformities, notify relevant parties, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Conduct investigations, identify root causes, and monitor CAPA implementation according to QFMS procedures.
• Use audit results to identify improvement opportunities and drive hygienic, sanitary conditions in the operational environment.

Required profile

• Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Science Laboratory Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience, preferably in an FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of food safety and quality management systems.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and HACCP standards.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience using SAP for quality‑related requests.
• Ability to analyze large data sets and produce clear reports.
