Quality Assurance Supervisor

About the role

The Quality Assurance Supervisor will oversee the implementation of quality and food safety standards across all production lines, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of integrity, honesty and due diligence in performing all quality assurance tasks.
• Assist the QA Manager in running the affairs and activities of the department.
• Supervise QA Officers and plan/schedule QA personnel to cover all shifts and production lines according to the production plan.
• Manage and control all document/record forms for easy referencing, ensuring they are available, up‑to‑date and accessible to QA staff.
• Ensure all equipment and tools needed for QA activities are available, in good condition and calibrated.
• Handle complaints and product returns, update and trend quality indices, and manage non‑conformities and CAPA processes.
• Use audit results to identify improvement opportunities and drive hygienic and sanitary conditions within the operational environment.

Required profile

• A degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Science Laboratory Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience, preferably in an FMCG manufacturing environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of food safety and quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP).
• Ability to analyze large amounts of data and produce clear reports.
• Leadership and interpersonal skills to manage a team.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
