Quality Control Officer

About the role

We are looking for a diligent and resilient Quality Control Officer to safeguard the standards of our packaging operations. You will inspect raw packaging materials, monitor active lines, and ensure that every finished product meets safety, quality, and labeling requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine quality inspections and audits across all packaging lines.
• Inspect incoming packaging materials (labels, cartons, seals, containers) for defects before production.
• Monitor seal integrity, batch coding, weight accuracy, and labeling precision during runs.
• Identify, document, and quarantine defective products or non‑conformities immediately.
• Log accurate inspection records and perform basic data entry using internal software.
• Collaborate with production operators to troubleshoot minor deviations and enforce SOPs.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification: Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor’s degree.
• Basic computer literacy for data entry and digital record‑keeping.
• Strict adherence to safety, hygiene, and operational guidelines.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new procedures, and perform under pressure.
• Excellent observational skills with a high degree of precision.
