About the role
We are looking for a Quantitative Researcher specialized in market microstructure to join Kybernous in Accra. You will turn micro‑structure insights into actionable models that drive our real‑time quoting engine.
Key responsibilities
- Convert market microstructure observations into production‑ready models, including fair‑value calculations and trading signals.
- Research spread, inventory and adverse‑selection dynamics across different venues and market regimes.
- Translate research findings into components that run in real time, avoiding static notebooks.
- Design and implement metrics that monitor the system’s quoting performance.
Required profile
- Strong grounding in market microstructure, statistics and time‑series analysis.
- Proven track record of taking research ideas to production signals or models.
- Rigorous, skeptical mindset with thorough stress‑testing of results.
- Ability to clearly explain model behaviour, not just outcomes.
