Quantity Surveyor – Residential Projects

About the role

Cornerstone Developments Ghana is seeking a full‑time Quantity Surveyor to join its on‑site team in Accra. You will support residential projects by preparing accurate cost information and ensuring financial targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for new and ongoing residential developments.
• Assist in cost planning, budgeting, forecasting and procurement decisions.
• Support tendering processes and contract administration activities.
• Monitor project costs, track variations and produce regular cost reports.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers and contractors to provide cost advice and support value‑engineering initiatives.
• Maintain clear, detailed documentation and ensure compliance with internal standards and Ghanaian building regulations.

Required profile

• Strong skills in BOQ preparation and measurement, with the ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in cost planning, cost control and cost reporting across all project stages.
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of construction contracts, tender processes and local building regulations in Ghana.
• Ability to use quantity surveying and spreadsheet software for measurement and reporting.
• Excellent numerical, analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills; able to work on‑site and manage multiple priorities.
• Previous experience in residential or real‑estate development projects is an advantage.
