Regional Business Development Officer – Accra

About the role

The Regional Business Development Officer will lead AMCE’s growth in Ghana by building referral networks, forging strategic partnerships with clinicians and institutions, and delivering measurable sales results aligned with the company’s Centres of Excellence and NCD agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory plan covering major healthcare hubs (Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi, Tamale, Cape Coast) and achieve partner acquisition and referral volume targets.
• Prospect, onboard and manage relationships with private hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres and key medical consultants through virtual outreach and in‑person visits.
• Monitor market trends, competitive landscape and provide weekly activity reports, pipeline forecasts and CRM updates.
• Coordinate referrals between Ghanaian partners and AMCE clinical teams while managing extensive travel across the country.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of B2B field sales experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical or medical services sector in Ghana, with a proven record of meeting targets.
• Must be based in Accra and possess an existing network of healthcare providers.

Required skills

• High proficiency with CRM software.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams).
