Regional Business Development Officer – Accra

About the role

The Regional Business Development Officer will drive AMCE’s referral growth, strategic partnerships, and market presence across Ghana. You will execute the regional sales strategy by building high‑value referral networks, strengthening clinician and institutional relationships, and delivering measurable growth aligned with AMCE’s Centres of Excellence and NCD agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic territory plan covering key healthcare hubs (Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi, Tamale, Cape Coast) and prospect new referring partners such as private hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centres and medical consultants.
• Build and maintain trust‑based relationships with healthcare providers, act as the primary representative for AMCE in Ghana, and coordinate seamless patient referrals between partners and clinical teams.
• Monitor competitive landscape and healthcare trends, prepare weekly activity reports, pipeline forecasts and market‑intelligence insights, and keep CRM records up to date.
• Balance remote administrative work from Accra with regular travel to partner sites, ensuring consistent communication and sales momentum.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years proven B2B field‑sales experience, preferably in healthcare, pharmaceutical or medical services within Ghana.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets across multiple locations.
• Must be based in Accra and possess an existing network or proven experience engaging Ghanaian healthcare providers.
• High integrity and professional ethics suitable for the healthcare sector.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with virtual meeting platforms.
