Relationship Manager – Asset Management

About the role

The Relationship Manager, Asset Management will lead the bank’s engagement with asset managers, pension funds, mutual funds, insurance companies and other institutional investors. Reporting to the Head of Financial Institutions, the role focuses on growing deposits, investment balances and fee income while delivering high‑quality treasury and transaction banking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, acquire and nurture new institutional investor relationships across the asset‑management spectrum.
• Develop and execute relationship plans to increase deposits, investment balances and overall client profitability.
• Promote the bank’s treasury, cash‑management, foreign‑exchange, custody and related products to maximise wallet share.
• Mobilise institutional deposits and investment balances, driving fee and interest income growth.
• Provide market intelligence and advisory on interest rates, treasury products and investment opportunities.
• Coordinate with treasury, product and operations teams to structure solutions and ensure seamless service delivery.
• Prepare credit proposals, monitor portfolio performance and manage risk indicators.
• Ensure strict compliance with KYC, AML/CFT, internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in relationship management with asset‑management firms or institutional investors.
• Proven track record of deposit mobilisation and revenue generation.
• Strong understanding of treasury, cash‑management, foreign‑exchange and transaction‑banking products.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks (KYC, AML/CFT).
• Excellent client‑facing and negotiation skills.
