Relationship Manager – Asset Management

About the role

The Relationship Manager, Asset Management will develop, manage and grow relationships with asset management firms, pension funds, mutual funds, insurance companies and other institutional investors. The role focuses on mobilising deposits and investments, delivering treasury and transaction banking solutions, and generating sustainable fee and interest income.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new institutional investor relationships and build strong ties with fund managers and trustees.
• Mobilise institutional deposits, market treasury products, fixed deposits and cash‑management solutions.
• Drive fee and interest income through treasury, FX, transaction banking, custody and cross‑selling opportunities.
• Provide market intelligence, structure solutions with Treasury and Product teams, and ensure efficient service delivery.
• Monitor portfolio growth, profitability and risk, prepare credit proposals and ensure KYC/AML compliance.
• Prepare periodic performance reports and deliver market insights to support decision‑making.

Required profile

• First degree in Finance, Economics, Banking, Business Administration, Accounting or related field; Master’s degree is an advantage.
• 8‑10 years of experience in corporate banking, financial institutions, treasury sales, institutional banking, asset management or investment banking.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of asset management, pension funds, insurance and institutional investment markets.
• Knowledge of treasury products, fixed‑income instruments and liquidity management solutions.
• Business development and relationship management expertise.
• Understanding of credit analysis, risk management principles and banking regulations.
