Relationship Manager, Fintech

About the role

The Relationship Manager, Fintech will lead the bank’s strategic engagement with fintech firms and digital financial service providers. Reporting to the Head of the Financial Institutions Unit, you will originate, develop and manage client relationships to drive revenue through investment banking, balance‑sheet solutions and advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with fintech companies, including payment service providers, digital lenders, insurtechs, neobanks and technology enablers.
• Identify and originate investment banking opportunities such as debt and equity capital raising, M&A, strategic partnerships and structured finance.
• Cross‑sell the bank’s investment, treasury and transaction‑banking products to fintech clients.
• Coordinate internal product teams to structure and execute mandates, supporting due diligence, financial analysis and pitch preparation.
• Provide market intelligence on regulatory changes, funding trends and emerging technologies to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with credit policies, KYC/AML requirements and work with risk, legal and compliance teams to manage transaction risk.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.
• 5‑8 years of experience in investment banking, corporate banking or financial coverage.
• Professional qualifications such as CFA, ACA, ACCA or MBA are an advantage.
• ACI Dealership Certificate preferred.

Required skills

• Investment banking product knowledge (capital raising, M&A, structured finance).
• Financial analysis and due‑diligence expertise.
• Understanding of fintech business models, regulatory environment and funding needs.
• Risk and compliance management, including KYC/AML procedures.
