Reporter

About the role

The Reporter will join Harp Systems in Accra to create clear, accurate news and feature stories about the firm’s consulting projects, insights and industry trends. Working on‑site, you will translate complex operational findings into engaging content for both internal and external audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Research and gather information on internal and external business activities.
• Conduct interviews with stakeholders and attend meetings, events, and project briefings.
• Write, edit and publish news articles, feature pieces and digital content.
• Verify facts, ensure editorial accuracy and uphold ethical reporting standards.
• Produce supporting multimedia such as photos, short videos or audio clips.
• Collaborate with consultants, leadership, communications and marketing teams to maintain consistent messaging.

Required profile

• Strong reporting and news‑writing abilities with a focus on timely, engaging coverage.
• Excellent written communication and editorial judgment.
• Basic proficiency in photography, video or audio production for content support.
• Solid research, interviewing and fact‑checking skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work on‑site in the Greater Accra Region and function in a cross‑functional team.
