Restaurant Operations Manager

About the role

The Restaurant Operations Manager will ensure The ChopYard runs smoothly each day, turning standards into reliable operations. You will coordinate staff, service flow, inventory, cash handling and supplier activities while maintaining a high‑quality guest experience. The role focuses on preventing issues before they affect customers.

Key responsibilities

• Run daily service, staffing, stock, cash‑control and closing routines.
• Set and enforce standards for food quality, cleanliness, guest experience and service speed.
• Coordinate kitchen, counter, delivery and supplier activities throughout the operating day.
• Review sales, waste, stock usage, customer feedback and team performance.
• Coach team members and resolve operating issues proactively.

Required profile

• Minimum BECE certificate; WASSCE, TVET, HND or hospitality training is an advantage.
• Proven experience supervising restaurant, retail, hospitality or customer‑service operations.
• Comfort with cash handling, mobile‑money processes, stock control and shift leadership.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, basic accounting or hospitality‑management certifications is a plus.
