Sales and Marketing Manager

About the role

The Sales and Marketing Manager will lead the creation and execution of sales and marketing strategies for Bedita Pharmaceuticals, driving revenue growth and expanding market presence across Ghana.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing plans.
• Lead, coach, and manage the sales team, set targets and monitor performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients such as hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies.
• Plan, launch, and oversee promotional campaigns and brand positioning initiatives.
• Conduct market research, analyse sales data and generate actionable insights.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure effective product positioning.
• Prepare regular performance reports for senior leadership.
• Manage budgets and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales and marketing.
• Strong understanding of pharma products, customer engagement and market development.
• Experience in sales strategy, account management and client relationship development.
• Background in marketing planning, brand positioning and promotional campaign management.
• Ability to conduct market research, analyse data and produce business insights.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector is highly beneficial.
• Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Pharmacy or a related field.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including team management and performance coaching.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Accra and travel within Ghana as needed.
