Sales Executive - Heavy Machinery

About the role

Reporting to the Sales Director, the Sales Executive will drive growth by promoting and selling trucks, heavy‑duty equipment, machinery and related services across Accra and the Tema region. The role focuses on building strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and consistently achieving sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell trucks, heavy equipment, machinery, spare parts and related services.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories.
• Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends and competitor activity.
• Generate and follow up on leads, maintain an active sales pipeline and prepare quotations and proposals.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines and commercial terms within company guidelines.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Provide technical advice on suitable equipment based on operational requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Support debt recovery by following up on outstanding payments.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in heavy machinery, trucks or related equipment.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong customer relationship management skills.
• Ability to travel within the assigned territory and conduct regular client visits.
• Professional presentation and negotiation abilities.

Required skills

• In‑depth product knowledge of trucks, heavy equipment and spare parts.
