Sales Technician – Solar EPC

About the role

The Sales Technician (Solar EPC) is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Accra. You will drive sales of solar solutions while providing technical support to residential, commercial and industrial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers to assess energy needs and prepare proposals.
• Explain system designs, product options and demonstrate solar products.
• Conduct site visits and coordinate with engineering and installation teams.
• Manage client inquiries, support contract negotiations and follow up on leads.
• Deliver basic user training on installed systems.
• Maintain detailed sales records and provide feedback for product improvement.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proven sales and negotiation ability.
• Ability to deliver training on system usage and maintenance.
• Basic technical understanding of solar power systems, inverters and battery storage.
• Experience in renewable energy or electrical engineering is an advantage.
• Comfort with on‑site work and coordination with installation teams.
• Proficiency with email, spreadsheets and CRM software.
• Relevant diploma or degree.
