Section Operator II – Metallurgy

About the role
The Metallurgy Department is looking for an experienced Section Operator II to plan and execute tasks that meet operational objectives while adhering to metallurgical standards and safety procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure all circuits are free from tripping hazards by cleaning material spills.
- Assist the maintenance crew with routine maintenance work.
- Liaise with supervisors for timely reporting and execution of work.
- Maintain a safe, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001‑compliant working environment.
- Identify and report unsafe situations to the shift supervisor.
Required profile
- Minimum Senior High School Certificate.
- At least three years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of processing plants and tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Valid Ghanaian driver’s license and ability to drive light vehicles.
