Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to lead full‑cycle bookkeeping for a portfolio of SME clients in Accra and Tema. The role involves managing month‑end and year‑end close, preparing financial statements, and acting as the main liaison for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee full‑cycle bookkeeping and accounting for multiple SME clients.
• Execute and review complex month‑end and year‑end close processes, including bank reconciliations, accruals, deferrals, and journal entries.
• Prepare, review and present accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Serve as primary point of contact for assigned clients, building strong relationships and understanding their operations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• CPA or CA qualification is a strong plus.
• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in public accounting, outsourced accounting, or multi‑client bookkeeping environments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet tight deadlines.
