Senior Beverage Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Beverage Project Manager to lead the design, development and implementation of beverage processing and packaging projects in Accra, Ghana. The role covers the full project lifecycle from concept through to commercial production, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with food‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop complete project concepts from brief to commissioning and commercial launch.
• Prepare detailed User Requirement Specifications and technical specifications for processing and packaging lines.
• Design process flows, line configurations, plant layouts and equipment capacities.
• Calculate mass balances, production capacities, yields, water and energy consumption, and overall line efficiencies.
• Select and evaluate processing, filling, packaging and inspection equipment, and review supplier quotations.
• Coordinate with OEMs, consultants, civil contractors, utility providers and internal teams.
• Ensure factory layouts meet product flow, hygiene zoning, utility distribution and future‑expansion needs.
• Review P&IDs, process flow diagrams and automation philosophies for compliance with HACCP, GMP and international standards.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, technical risks and progress reporting.
• Supervise installation, factory acceptance tests, commissioning, validation and performance‑guarantee testing.
• Train production, engineering, maintenance and quality‑control teams.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in beverage processing and packaging projects, preferably in dairy, plant‑based, fruit‑juice and carbonated sectors.
• Strong knowledge of hot‑fill, cold‑fill, aseptic and UHT technologies.
• Proven ability to design plant layouts, process flows and utility systems.
• Demonstrated experience managing large‑scale projects, budgets and multidisciplinary teams.
