Senior Business Developer – Ghana

About the role

The Senior Business Developer will work on‑site in the Greater Accra region, driving new business opportunities for The SM Records in Ghana and the surrounding market. You will focus on expanding partnerships with artists, record labels, and content owners, helping them access global music distribution and digital rights management services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities with artists, labels, and content owners.
• Conduct market research and analyse trends to shape sales strategies.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, from lead generation to deal closure.
• Present tailored distribution and rights‑management solutions to potential partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams to onboard clients and ensure high‑quality service.
• Prepare business proposals, track performance metrics, and report on revenue growth.
• Represent The SM Records at industry events, meetings, and networking sessions.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to evaluate market trends and partnership potential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging artists and stakeholders.
• Proven experience in lead generation, pipeline management, and closing sales deals.
