Senior Customer Portfolio Manager – CS

About the role

The Senior Customer Portfolio Manager (CPM) will own the relationship with key power‑generation customers and drive financial and operational performance for the Gas Power Services SSA business. Based on‑site with the customer, the CPM delivers high‑quality solutions, manages long‑term service agreements and supports outage planning and parts delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of Long‑Term Service Agreements and service contracts.
• Take P&L responsibility for assigned contracts, monitoring profitability, cost control and revenue recognition.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for additional services, upgrades or scope extensions.
• Coordinate engineering, field service, parts supply and outage management teams to ensure successful service delivery.
• Monitor performance indicators such as unit availability, reliability and heat rate.
• Serve as the primary operational and contractual point of contact for the customer.
• Support customers during planned, unplanned and forced outages.
• Maintain unit operating and parts life history using commercial software.
• Develop and execute sales plans, track billing for maintenance parts and services.
• Collaborate with sales, commercial and risk teams on new opportunities and up‑selling.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Controls or Power Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in power generation services or plant operations.
• At least 5 years of hands‑on experience with gas turbines, steam turbines, generators and power‑plant systems.
• Strong contractual, commercial and negotiation expertise.
• Minimum 3 years of project‑management experience.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
