Senior Finance Manager

About the role

The Senior Finance Manager provides strategic leadership and oversight of all financial functions for CHAI Ghana. Reporting directly to the Country Director and working closely with the leadership team, this role ensures financial compliance, risk management, and operational efficiency across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all finance activities, including budgeting, reporting, and cash management.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, donor requirements, and local regulations.
• Manage financial risk and drive operational efficiency.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high‑performing finance team aligned with CHAI’s mission.
• Collaborate with the Country Director and maintain a dotted‑line relationship with the CFO.

Required profile

• Senior finance professional with proven experience in financial stewardship.
• Demonstrated ability to lead finance teams and work with senior leadership.
• Strong understanding of financial compliance and risk management.
• Commitment to CHAI’s mission and values.
