Senior Internal Audit Assistant

About the role

The Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) is inviting applications from qualified Ghanaian professionals for the position of Senior Internal Audit Assistant. The role is based in Accra and will support the association’s internal audit function, ensuring compliance with professional standards and organizational policies. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management to uphold ethical standards, confidentiality, and integrity in all audit activities.

Key responsibilities

Required profile

• Must be a professional teacher not below the rank of Assistant Director 1 with at least four years of experience at that rank.
• Must have served as a Senior Auditing Assistant for a minimum of three years.
• Must hold a first degree from a recognized university in a relevant subject area.
• Age must be between 25 and 35 years at the time of appointment.
• Must be detail‑oriented and possess strong communication abilities.
• Must value ethics, confidentiality, professional standards and integrity.
