About the role

The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) seeks a qualified Senior Lecturer for its Faculty of Computing and Information Systems. The position involves teaching, supervising research, and contributing to community service and faculty development within a technology‑focused public university.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in selected computing or information systems modules.
• Supervise student projects, theses, and research activities.
• Conduct original research and publish findings in recognized journals.
• Participate in curriculum development and departmental meetings.
• Engage in community outreach and professional service activities.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Mobile Computing, etc.).
• Minimum of four years experience as a Lecturer at a recognized university.
• At least six publications in peer‑reviewed journals.
• Previous appointment as Senior Lecturer at a comparable institution or eligibility for promotion through GCTU’s process.
