Shop Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and energetic Shop Assistant to support daily operations in our beauty and hardware retail stores located in La, Accra. The role involves assisting customers, maintaining the shop floor, and handling transactions across diverse product lines.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with purchases in a polite and professional manner.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked shop floor for both beauty and hardware products.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving stock, checking quantities, and updating records.
• Handle cash and digital transactions accurately.
• Provide accurate information regarding product features, pricing, and availability.

Required profile

• Minimum of a Senior High School (SHS) certificate or equivalent.
• Prior retail sales experience, preferably in beauty products or hardware/construction materials.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic numeracy and familiarity with digital payment systems.
• Honesty, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
• Residence within La or surrounding areas for easy commute.
