Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Zof AI is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to own and operate the execution layer of its control plane. You will run large fleets of sandboxed agents that execute customer code safely, cost‑effectively, and at scale. The role combines platform engineering, security, and cost optimisation in a fast‑moving AI environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and operate sandboxed environments where agents reproduce defects and validate fixes.
• Own end‑to‑end Kubernetes, container, and compute infrastructure.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines that enable engineers to ship safely multiple times a day.
• Implement hard isolation boundaries (e.g., gVisor, Firecracker) to keep untrusted code contained.
• Instrument fleet health with metrics, logs, tracing and alerting for early failure detection.
• Reduce cost per agent run through intelligent scheduling, autoscaling and capacity planning.
• Automate provisioning, deployment, rollback and environment management.
• Partner with engineering teams to make infrastructure fast, reliable and secure.

Required profile

• Proven experience running production infrastructure on a major cloud platform.
• Strong judgment on security, reliability and cost trade‑offs.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort operating in a fast‑moving, high‑performance environment.
• Daily use of AI tools to automate operational work.

Required skills

• Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
• Infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
• Observability stacks (metrics, logs, tracing) and on‑call practices.
• Sandboxing or multi‑tenant isolation technologies (gVisor, Firecracker).
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
